Dear Officers, Firefighters, High School Guidance Counselors, Parents and Students,

The Georgia Electronic Life Safety & Systems Association (formerly GBFAA) is pleased to announce the availability of scholarship awards to sons and daughters of active-duty police and fire personnel through the Georgia Electronic Life Safety & Systems Association Scholarship Fund.

The Scholarship award in the amount of $1,500 is available to qualified high school seniors.  The rules for eligibility are contained in this mailing.  The Georgia Electronic Life Safety & Systems Association has approximately 225 members in our state.  Our members are companies that sell, design, install, maintain and monitor electronic burglar and fire alarm systems.  This scholarship award is a small way for our industry to say thank you to our very dedicated public safety community, and to help pay for an advanced education.

Please publicize this scholarship opportunity to your members so that everyone can participate.  A copy of the requirements and application are included with this letter.   They can be copied and disseminated as much as needed.
